FREE INDEED CONFERENCE
The Lord has taken me back to move me forward more times than I can count! I should be used to it but somehow I'm always still surprised...lol! I went to college in Wilmington, NC and lived there for almost 10 years. I met my husband there and consider it "home" in many ways. However, when I moved away, I went with purpose. The funny thing about purpose is that we don't determine it. It's a God thing. So I shouldn't have been surprised when I felt this deep call to return to Wilmington for ministry. I didn't know what or when but it was strong and it didn't go away. Fear tried to silence the calling with doubt but again...it wouldn't go away. Fast forward to January 2025 and the instruction and the urgency became unavoidable. The Lord said three things to me - deliverance. different. necessary. I decided that my only course of action was obedience.

RHEMA RETREATS
In 2013, the Lord laid it upon my heart to plan retreats. It seemed like a task that was way too big for me. As a matter of fact, I ignored the instruction for a very long time. I just couldn't see what I could do for people at a retreat. But the Lord continued to speak and finally, I listened. And so, the Rhema Retreat was born in the Summer of 2015. The first one was an amazing gathering of 7 women that met God at the beach. They cried, released, journaled and made plans. They all left with something that was given straight from the Lord to them. It was truly a blessing. In year 2, God expanded the retreat to 21 and He charged the participants to relax, release, and relate! It was a powerful and life changing experience with women leaving those things that held them bound and leaving with purpose and instruction. In year 3, God sent a new group of women and told them that it was time to build. He released a life-changing challenge to the women to move out of stagnation and into action. In year 4, God sent an intentional small group of women that were ready to walk through their open door and instructed them to ascend and enter into their next. In year 5, the Lord gave me one word... HERE and encouraged those in attendance to take advantage of their right now! It was powerful and it was also what I believed was the last retreat.
The year 2020 brought about great shift and change in the world and in my life. The COVID-19 pandemic hit and I made the decision to step away from doing retreats. I was tapped out. I didn't believe I had anything else to offer through the retreat space. I would often have women ask me when it was coming back but I just didn't have the desire to do it again. Then in early 2023, I started to hear whispers from the Holy Spirit that there was more for Rhema to do. I ignored all of it! Retreat planning takes a huge investment of time and energy and I was fine not doing it. But Holy Spirit kept speaking and finally one day, I asked the Lord if He really wanted me to do it. There was an immediate response...BRING BACK THE ROAR! I was stunned! However, in a matter of an hour, the Lord had given me the theme and scripture for Rhema 2023. And so it returns...
This Rhema will be somewhat different than retreats in the past. First, the location is shifting from the beach to the mountains. The Lord told me that what He has to say requires an atmosphere that reflects the strength and enormity of the move. This year He will shake and push us into obedience.
